Abstract [eng] The aim of this master‘s degree final thesis is to develop and investigate a control system for the technological process of ammonium nitrate granulation. The technology of ammonium nitrate production is discussed in the work, the process of ammonium nitrate granulation is analyzed in more detail – technological equipment, optimal process conditions, main problems and requirements for smooth production. The control systems most often used in the technological processes of the chemical industry are analyzed. The results of active and passive experiments required to identify the dynamics of ammonium nitrate granulation technological process are also presented. Having the results of experiments, the object is identified – the dependence of the product temperature on the air pressure in the granulation, the dependence of the product temperature on the outside air temperature and the dependence of the air pressure on the fan speed. With these transfer functions, a model is created in the „Matlab / Simulink“ software package, and a control system is designed – feedback/feedforward control system. A discrete changes PID algorithm is used for the feedback controller, which is optimised with ITAE criteria – a study is performed about which regulator faster reaches setpoint value. Also, a study is performed about which of the three options of the feedforward regulator (compensator) better eliminates the influence of disturbance, and the possibilities and methods of realization of the adaptation algorithm are discussed.
