The aim of this paper is to design a urea – formaldehyde resin (UF – resin) production line capable of producing 78 000 tons of 1.07 F/U molar ratio resin using a 55% concentration formaldehyde solution. The process of urea formaldehyde resin synthesis is analyzed in the paper. Research has shown that under the selected conditions, high concentration formalin can provide suitable technological parameters of UF resin, thus eliminating vacuum distillation, thus saving energy resources and reducing the cost of the project. The paper provides technological equipment and pipelines of appropriate specifications required for the synthesis of UF resin. Production costs, project cost, as well as the estimated payback period of the project are calculated. An analysis of the construction, environmental, occupational safety and health parts are presented. The graphic part presents the situation plan, the layout of the equipment on two floors, the section of the building, urea dosing unit buildings, technological scheme of UF resin production line. |
