Abstract [eng] The final thesis aims at describing and analyzing the folowing research issue related with Echinacea, Artemisia, Tagetes plants in vivo and callus cultures in vitro, antioxidant activity and determination of quantities of bioactive compounds. These medicinal plants have anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antioxidant properties. The research showed that the most intense callus culture in vitro formation was of Artemisia dracunculus L. from the leaves in MS medium with growth hormones BAP 2.5 mg/l + NAA 0.5 mg/l. The results showed that the highest concentrations of pigments were found in the extracts: chlorophyll a (171.63 mg/100mg) and carotenoids (56.73 mg/100mg) in Tagetes erecta L. leaves, chlorophyll b in Artemisia dracunculus L. in vivo (62,.13 mg/100mg). According DPPH method, the highest antioxidant activity was shown in vivo extract of Artemisia vulgaris L. leaves (92.41 %), using FRAP method – in vivo extract of Tagetes erecta L. (630.94 μmol/l). The highest activities of antioxidant enzymes were shown of Artemisia dracunculus L. callus cultures: catalase (1232.13 units/mg), superoxide dismutase (2.08 unit/mg) and ascorbate peroxidase (0.23 mmol/mg). The highest concentration of L-proline was found in vivo extract of Artemisia absinthium L. (84.50 µmol/g). The highest amount of the total amount of phenolic compounds was accumulated in Artemisia absinthium L. in vivo (2.86 mg/100mg) and Artemisia dracunculus L. (5.92 mg/100 mg) extracts. The most intensive antibacterial properties were characterized in Tagetes erecta L. extracts of leaves against bacterial cultures of Xanthomonas campestris ir Escherichia coli.
