Abstract [eng] |
The aim of this dissertation is the explore an ultrasonic water meter flow rate and after the analysis of alternative design solutions to select the construction that ensures minimum pressure loss, sufficient water flow rate and minimum vortices in the measuring zone of the meter. Relevanse of the topic – the new generation of ultrasonic meters is gradually displacing the former mechanical meters. One of the advantages is the accuracy class R800, which must be included the analyzed meter, In this work are comparing several different types of water meters, their advantages and disadvantages. Mechanical and ultrasonic meters are analyzed in more detail. Also was developed a computational model of the ultarsonic water meter and sensitivity analysis of the parameters presented in the task. For the easier appreciate of results, i use the desirability function. The pressure loss of the water meter was measured experimentally, the obtained results were used for the validation of the meter model. After evaluating the technical limitation, alternative changes to the meter design were selected. |
