In the present study, dissolved gas analysis (DGA) methods used to evaluate faults in electrical equipment, and additional factors that characterize the condition of electrical equipment have been reviewed. Using the traditional DGA methods, possibilities for the prognosis of possible faults in a power transformer and the effectiveness of DGA methods have been evaluated. Electrical equipment fault analysis appeared to be more effective and more precise when applying several DGA methods in complex or using intellectual methods. |
