The research results also show that a student loses interest in studies in those cases when there is no clear focus on the profession, when a student does not understand the logics of the studies’ curriculum, or there is unprofessional realization of curriculum in particular studies’ subjects, as well as when student has no welldeveloped information analysis and systematizing skills, one does not know how to create individual knowledge system. Thus student’s emotional and cognitive distancing from the learning topics is followed by decreased study motivation. In this case the student encounters obstacles to get familiar with professional field and does not create a picture of the profession. If a student fails in studying professional theoretical concepts, then he cannot define the meaning of studying for himself. Decision not to continue working in the professional field after completing studies can come as a result in this case. Thus process of formation of professional identity of a student of social sciences field stops. [...]. |
