Abstract [eng] Improving student achievement is a key direction of education policy in the world, including Lithuania. Today’s student must learn to think, ask questions and find answers, find the necessary information, select it and apply it. With the opportunity to learn more flexibly, using mobile and computer technologies, virtual learning environments and platforms, it is necessary to apply attractive, advanced learning tools to today's students, which would help learners to develop knowledge, motivate learners to constantly grow and improve, and develop self-directed lifelong learning principles. This work reveals that, in theory, virtual learning platforms, including the EDUKA, enrich traditional teaching by optimizing it and provide significant benefits to the learner's academic performance. The aim of the research is to determine the influence of the virtual learning platform on the learning performance in mathematics of primary school students. To achieve this, the following tasks have been set: to reveal the theoretical aspects of the interface between the virtual learning platform EDUKA and the mathematical learning performance of primary school students; to substantiate the influence of the virtual learning platform EDUKA on the learning performance of primary school students in mathematics research methodology; to determine the links between the EDUKA virtual learning platform for primary school students and mathematics learning performance. Depending on the research question, chosen experimental study. The study involved 100 first-graders. Students worked with textbook in math lessons and the EDUKA. The study was conducted on 2018 – 2019 school years. Respondents were tested three times during the entire current school year. An experiment to assess students progress in mathematics was conducted under natural conditions for children: subjects worked with their class teacher during the study, in their classroom as during other lessons. It was found that the intensively integrated virtual learning platform EDUKA into formal education, a subject of mathematics, had a significant impact on students' mathematical performance. After the experiment, the difference between the initial and final results of students with a satisfactory level decreased statistically significantly (p <0,05). Also, after the experiment, a statistically significant difference was found (p <0,05) in students with higher levels.
