Success of modern organization is affected not only by skills of employees but it is affected by motivation of personnel too. Motivation - measure which helps leader to manage the organization’s employment relationship. When leader knows how to stimulate personnel for work, he can use these knowledges for work tasks and salary and in such manner, he can make personnel believe (Žaptorius, 2007, p. 105). When we made different interviews and annual evaluation it was clear that mechanism of motivation of State Border Guard Service (SBGS) Pagėgiai Frontier District (Pagėgiai FD) has a lot of space for improvement. The main goal of this master‘s thesis is to analyze and to evaluate SBGS Pagėgiai FD motivation system and depending from results make suggestions how to improve it. For this goal were set three tasks. Author defines concept of motivation and identifies it’s theoretical basis, analyzes normative legal acts which regulates motivational measures of statutory civil servants, carries out a quantitative study, by which was evaluated SBGS Pagėgiai FD motivational system for officers and it’s peculiarities. |
