The aim of the master's final project is to study the conductivity of a part of the transport network and to provide solutions that would improve the performance of the transport infrastructure at the research object. The network of intersections located in Baršausko str. It includes Breslaujos st. - Baršausko st. intersection and the intersection of PC Molas in the above-mentioned Baršausko str. The main objectives of the study are to analyze transport intersections by reviewing the literature and to present effective principles of intersection management. Also, after performing a tripartite intersection modeling scenario, use Vissim software to explore and present possible solutions. This will make it possible to determine the distribution of traffic flows at the junctions of the network in question. The data collected during the measurements are systematized, a transport network model is prepared. Obtained traffic flows and traffic light cycle times used for modeling in PTV VISSIM software. To improve the traffic network, one of the left turns is adjusted, the control cycles of intersection traffic lights are changed. The obtained results are statistically processed to find out whether they are significant in the corrections made at the intersection network. Based on the obtained results, the most significant scenario in the adjusted intersection network is obtained. |
