Abstract [eng] In the Twenty-First century, business organizations experienced large transformations. 4.0 Industrial revolution, digitalization, Internet, Artificial intelligence all influenced the processes of many organizations. Consequently, global changes have had influence on the job market. Many organizations wanting to gain on keep a competitive advantage must look for employees who are capable of creating innovative solutions. Creativity is becoming an important employee trait, and is considered the backbone of innovations and competition. However, despite the undeniable importance of employee creativity many organizations are ignoring this worker competence or experience an employee creativity crisis - leading opinion is that creativity is only useful in specific areas. In order to nurture employee creativity, employers need to create an environment conducive to creativity in the organization. Much of the research examining environmental factors that drive employee creativity is conducted in the service sector. In addition, the focus is on social environment factors, with little regard for physical environment factors. Results of the study: After completing an analysis of the literature, a definition of worker creativity was conceptualized. Worker creativity is a process, of with the result must possess three qualities: newness, originality and usefulness. Additionally it was revealed that individual creativity consists of one’s creative potential, motivation and skillfulness. Organizational actions that stimulate worker creativity could be defined as the sum of social and physical factors. Social factors could include: support of creativity, autonomy at work, resources, stress and pressure experienced at work. Physical factors consist of ergonomic work conditions, design and or architecture elements at work. After concluding literature analysis, a theoretical model was created, which was tested in the manufacturing sector. Empirical research has shown that the creativity of employees in the manufacturing sector is stimulated by the support of creativity in the organization, which includes the support of the whole organization and the manager, autonomy at work. The creativity of employees in the manufacturing sector is negatively affected by the pressure at work. No statistically significant relationship was found between the physical environment and the creativity of workers in the manufacturing sector. Workplace lighting has been found to be the most important element of the physical environment for workers in the manufacturing sector. Also, after analyzing the data, it was found that the creativity of employees of different gender, age and employees is affected by different organizational factors. The analysis of the data revealed that length of service, education, and positions are also important in identifying the factors that promote the creativity of employees in the manufacturing sector.
