Abstract [eng] |
The final master's thesis analyzes and researches the influence of gamification on the motivation of different generations. The object of this research is gamification elements which have an impact on motivation for different generations. The aim of this research is to evaluate the influence of gamification on motivation for different generations. The objectives of this research are to define the concept of gamification, identify the main elements of the gamification, identify motivation demand of different generations and empirically evaluate the influence of gamification elements on motivation for different generations. In the empirical research a one-way analysis of variance has been used and showed that gamification components of different generations as motivational factors do not differ significantly. As well, regression analysis has been used in order to evaluate the influence of gamification mechanics and dynamics for different generations psychological needs. To conclude, gamification does not make significant impact on physiological and safety needs for different generations but makes significant impact on social and recognition needs for X and Y generations.
