Abstract [eng] Topical issues: Economic resilience assessment is needed, so the business cause of the situations will be revealed and reliable information collected. Economic resilience assessment is designed for corporate management, which evaluates possible legal governance decisions. Project object: Evaluation of economic resilience of dairy sector. Objective: To formulate methodology for empirical research of resistance of Lithuanian dairy sector to economic needs. Tasks: to analyze the importance of the dairy sector; analyze the concept of resistance to economic sanctions; assess the economic resilience of the Lithuanian dairy industry under Russian sanctions; The highest economic resilience of Lithuanian dairy companies was evaluated. Main results of the project: economic resilience of Lithuanian dairy industry under Russian sanctions was evaluated. The impact was noticed on the Lithuanian dairy market due to the Russian embargo. In 2015, the number of operating companies decreased by 33 percent. A sharp drop in sales was noticeable in 2014-2015. Compared to 2014 and 2015, exports decreased by 33 percent. Russian exports incomes in 2007-2013 was more than 10 percent from all Export. The highest K correlation between the Russian embargo and the figures for the dairy industry is the number of industrial workers (0.92). The number of enterprises operating in the dairy industry correlates with 0.84. The indicator of lower connection - Lithuanian Dairy Product Revenue (0.62). And the lowest correlation between the Russian embargo and the Lithuanian dairy industry export revenue (0.55). Comparison of JC „Pieno Zvaigzdes“ and JC „Žemaitijos Pienas“ revealed that JC“ Žemaitijos Pienas“ was more resilence or the company was less affected by the Russian embargo.
