This paper is final Master degree project. This project aim is to develop a system which would measure real pallet height and weight, then the obtain results would be compared with theoretical data, in case of non-compliance, system will warn the system user about it. This project consists six main chapters: 1 – Literature analysis, 2 – System being developed working principal and concept, 3 – mechanical components of the system, 4 – Control components and system work programs, 5 – Price calculation of the system, 6 – Efficiency research of the system. The first part of the master's final project describes similar systems, their advantages and disadvantages. The second part explains how the system works, the system requirements, the impact on production processes and the components of the system. The third part describes all the components of the system, the reasons for their selection, their technical characteristics, as well as the visual images of all components. The fourth part explains the user interfaces of the programmable logic controller, their functions and the principle of operation. The fifth part calculates the price of the system and its change by adding or subtracting certain components. The sixth part examines the efficiency of the system using it in a real production plant. The impact of the system on quality assurance in warehouse work processes is investigated as well At the end of the thesis there are recommendations and conclusions summarizing the master's thesis and the obtained results. |
