Abstract [eng] |
Cross-linked polymers of vanillin acrylates were synthesized by radical and thiol-ene photopolymerisation using ethyl(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phenylphosphinate as photoinitiator. Photocross-linking kinetics was investigated by the real-time photorheometry. The reaction rate was the highest and the most rigid polymers were obtained from vanillin acrylate-based resins without any solvent and thiol. The vanillin diacrylate-based polymers without solvent possessed the higher values of cross-linking density, yield of insoluble fraction, better thermal stability and mechanical properties in comparison to the vanillin dimethacrylate-based polymers. According to the experimental data, recommendations for the technology line of production of vanillin acrylate photocross-linked polymer films, as well as description of safety and health of the employees are presented. |
