Abstract [eng] In this thesis comparex life cycle of 1013kWp solar power plant which is located in Lithuania and Australia. Additionally, assessment of Energy payback time (EPBT) and greenhouse gas emissions balance (GHGrate) are included in final calculations of life cycle assessment. Areas of concern analysis explains greenhouse gas emissions on a global scale and describes how these emissions are assessed by various organization. Furthermore, details are provided on emission of renewable energy plants which are produced as a result of manufacturing process, transportation, operation and decommissioning. Finally, thesis explains life cycle assessment methodology and includes comparison analysis as well as result interpretation.
