Abstract [eng] In this paper, a literature analysis of magnetic clutches is presented, main magnetic clutch types are overviewed, also its’ construction elements and materials they are made of are analyzed as well as main mechanical characteristics, modeling methods and possible application of magnetic clutch are presented. The model of magnetic clutch based on 3D finite elements method is analyzed. The influence of magnetic and geometric parameters such as pole pair number, air gap, magnets thickness, yoke thickness, the material yoke made of, axial magnetic disk size on axial magnetic clutch main characteristic - maximum mechanical torque - is researched and analyzed. 3D FEM model verified by comparing acquired values to experiment values.
