Abstract [eng] Organic food products are the latest trend in the market worldwide, but Lithuanians tend to resist to consume such products. The reasons of resistance can be classified into two main groups: functional barriers and psychological barriers. With the research method of survey it was found out that in Lithuanian organic food market the value barrier and economic risk barrier are functioning, while other consumer resistance barriers are not existent.
