Abstract [eng] |
The Fourth Industrial Revolution poses many challenges for robotics, digital technology, artificial intelligence, automation, opens up new markets and stimulates new business models. Companies are encouraged to develop new products, provide new services, create new value for consumers and other businesses. Market survival, being competitive requires a lot of effort, ideas, knowledge, innovation and new technologies. Therefore, companies are constantly looking for unique and effective business solutions to meet their customers, reduce costs for acquiring knowledge or technology, link with partners or other organizations, and engage in various inter-organizational networks. Entrepreneurs need to adapt even more to the complex, global and dynamic environment that forces them to rethink behavior patterns and initiate change. Innovations are traditionally recognized as driving forces for progress and prosperity. Objective - To distinguish the peculiarities of inter-organizational networking in open innovation ecosystems and to provide empowerment recommendations. The object of research - networking of organizations in open innovation ecosystems. Tasks: – Reveal the ecosystems of open innovation and the specificity of networking interactions. – Identify the factors and barriers to enabling inter-organizational networking in case of innovation development. – Rationalize the methodology of networking determinants of open innovation in ecosystems and develop empirical research tools. – Based on an empirical study, provide recommendations for networking enabling in the case of an ecosystem operating on the basis of Kaunas Science and Technology Park. The main results: Based on the analysis of scientific literature, the motives motivating the involvement of enterprises in inter-organizational networks, factors and barriers affecting networking have been identified. An empirical study was conducted to verify the claims of scientists. Empirical research was carried out with the help of a qualitative research strategy with companies located in Kaunas Science and Technology Park and operating in the ecosystem of health engineering. The study confirmed the assumptions made by scientists about the factors that allow inter-organizational networking. The results of the study allowed to formulate recommendations for companies and further research. |
