TiO2 (Titanium Dioxide) - an innovative material with unique properties, embedded in facade coatings or roofing materials, acts as a catalyst for photocatalysis principle when exposed to UV rays. Those finishing coatings in which production was used TiO2, helps to purify air, which is, polluted with nitrogen oxides (NOx). Also, such products decompose dirt on their surfaces and cleans itself. In this work it is envisaged to carry out experiments on the surface of the product with photocatalytic substances and to determine the efficiency of dirt and organic decomposition and air purification when exposed to UV rays. It is also planned to perform multi-criteria assessment. |
