Most of the companies are seeking to be modern and attractive both to the current and potential clients. That is why they have to be open to innovation which should be used in the production too. The modernization of production process was carried out in the company that develops transport management solutions. The aim of the thesis is to investigate the possibilities of modernizing the production process in a company that develops transport management solutions and to provide modernization solutions in the production process. Analyzing the possibilities of modernization presented in the scientific literature, the work examined the impact of the 5S tool on the production process and the possibilities of more precise planning according to the Heijunka methodology. After the modernization of the production process, the internal indicators of the company start to improve, the cost of the products has decreased, and the company's gross profit has increased. |
