Abstract [eng] |
The aim of this master‘s thesis is to analyze the behavior of steel beams after strengthening and to determine its’ most effective values for enhancement parameters. The thesis consists of three main parts: literature review, methodology for calculations of steel beam strengthened with prestressed tendons and steel sheets and discussion of their results. The first part of the work reviews various ways of strengthening steel beams. Analyzing the experimental tests described in the literature, the effectiveness of each method is evaluated. In the second part of the master’s thesis, the method of calculation of strengthening steel beams is composed. Initial system parameters, computational schemes, calculation and verification methodology are defined. The third part of this work presents the characteristics used for comparison of the strengthening system, the limitations of the system and the limit values. The influence of calculated different amplification system parameters on the beam load and stiffness were graphically compared. Finally, the cost of installing beam strengthening with tensioned tendons and steel sheets is compared. 4 master’s thesis conclusions are given. |
