The environmental impacts of building are assessed by sustainability schemes almost in all building’s cycles. The best known and most commonly used systems are BREEAM and LEED. More and more green structures are being built in developed countries these days and green building rating systems are gaining more influence in a modern construction. This study is about the assessment of a construction stage using green building rating systems in Lithuania. Main aspects of thesis are the assessment of buildings construction stage and comparison of most commonly used green building rating systems in Lithuania. Research and its results can be used as a consultative or a recommendation for contractor organizations who are planning to work with green building projects. |
