Production process of exhaust hoods was analysed to increase its’ efficiency. To reach this goal it was important to analyze methods of process improvement, exhaust hoods production path and to measure the duration of each exhaust hood manufacturing in the administration and manufactory. Analyzing existing problems causing wastes for the company led to decision to minimize production time of exhaust hoods on the asembly line. For this reason, takt time of every assembly line and each employee‘s working steps were measured. After measuring the takt time, work standartization was performed. This process improvement tool did not achieve the goal, so work standardization had to be done twice. |
