Abstract [eng] The article presents a method for mechanical and geometric optimization of laser cutting processes for HDF (High Density Fiberboard) components used in packaging and printing products. The proposed approach combines polygon-based nesting algorithms with technological constraints of laser processing and mechanical characteristics of sheet materials. The developed model considers irregular geometry of parts, laser kerf width, minimum technological gaps, material anisotropy, and thermal influence during cutting. A multi-criteria optimization function is introduced, which simultaneously minimizes material waste, cutting path length, and mechanical degradation of produced compo-nents. The developed algorithm is based on a combina-tion of geometric preprocessing, Bottom-Left placement strategy, inner nesting optimization, and common-line cutting principles. The proposed solution allows increasing material utilization efficiency and improving the functional quality of manufactured HDF components.
