Abstract [eng] |
The development of energy efficient technologies intensified the studies of organic light emitting diode (OLED), solar cells, and organic transistors. These devices are formed using organic materials that must satisfy several requirements. The investigation of properties can create structure-properties relationship and selected materials with a complex of optimum properties. Phenanthroimidazole–based derivatives attracted a lot of attention of the scientific community due to their simple and cheap synthesis, attractive bipolar properties and excellent luminescence efficiency, etc. Mainly, phenanthroimidazole–based materials were exploited in two application areas related to the OLED's relying on their emitting or bipolar properties. In this work electroactive organic materials containing phenanthroimidazole moieties were investigated. Properties of synthesized compounds, and the structure-properties relationship were investigated. Electroluminescent devices using synthesised compounds were fabricated. Using the matrices for the immobilization of phenanthroimidazole-based emitters received diodes with higher external quantum efficiency compared to the devices based on the non-doped emitting layers. The thermal polymerization kinetics of crystalline monomers has been investigated. Optimal thermal polymerization conditions are selected, which will form the basis for the formation of electroactive polymeric layers of the organic electronic devices in the future. |
