| Abstract [eng] |
We present a novel system for enhancing privacy and security of personally identifiable customer data in the domain of e-commerce. This is achieved by storing authentic customer data in a trusted third party, called a mediator, and replacing it with synthetic, yet convincing substitutes in the systems of ecommerce participants. Our system of customer data storage and access is designed to be retrofittable onto existing e-commerce platforms. |
