| Abstract [eng] |
The relevance of the topic is based on the fact that teachers’ psychological well-being has become one of the key factors of educational quality. In pre-school education institutions, teachers work in emotionally demanding environments, face high levels of responsibility, workload, behavioral challenges, and limited resources, which makes their psychological well-being particularly important for both their personal health and the quality of the educational process. Scientific literature increasingly emphasizes that teachers’ well-being is influenced not only by individual factors but also by organizational ones, highlighting the importance of analyzing organizational culture, especially its ethical dimension. The novelty of the research lies in the limited number of studies examining the relationship between ethical organizational culture and teachers’ psychological well-being in pre school education institutions in Lithuania. This study applies M. Kaptein’s Corporate Ethical Virtues (CEV) model, which allows for a systematic analysis of the dimensions of ethical organizational culture. In addition, the research focuses on the pre-school education sector, which is less frequently analyzed in scientific studies, thus providing insights into its specific context. The research problem is formulated as the question: how does ethical organizational culture influence teachers’ psychological well-being in pre-school education institutions? The object of the research is the impact of ethical organizational culture on teachers’ psychological well-being. The aim of the study is to reveal the influence of ethical organizational culture on teachers’ psychological well-being in pre-school education institutions. To achieve this aim, the following objectives are set: to conceptually substantiate the influence of ethical organizational culture on teachers’ psychological well-being, to analyze the concept of psychological well-being, to systematize the evaluation methodologies, and to empirically investigate the relationships between these phenomena. The research methods include analysis of scientific literature and a questionnaire survey. The literature analysis is used to provide a theoretical foundation, while the questionnaire survey is applied to collect data on teachers’ perceptions of organizational culture and their psychological well-being. Data analysis is carried out using statistical methods, such as descriptive statistics and correlation analysis. The thesis consists of three main parts: the theoretical part, which analyzes the concepts of organizational culture and psychological well-being and their interrelations; the methodological part, which presents the research methods and instruments; and the empirical part, which describes the research process and data analysis. |
