Abstract [eng] This study synthesizes evidence on educational challenges and pedagogical solutionsfor effective learning in university-level English-medium instruction (EMI) programmes.Using PRISMA-guided systematic review methods, 61 studies were analysed to identifykey challenges and corresponding solutions. Six domains influencing EMI effectivenessemerged: psychological, linguistic, cognitive, pedagogical, sociocultural, and organiza-tional. Based on these domains, the study proposes curriculum development recom-mendations aimed at improving student academic performance, teaching quality, andprogramme feasibility. The findings offer a framework to enhance EMI implementationand support evidence-based curriculum design and teacher professional development.
