This thesis provides a comprehensive analysis of literature, which defines the criteria that influence the efficiency of transportation. According to established criteria, by using “Solidworks” program, a 3D CAD model of a vibratory conveyor is created based on which a prototype is then produced. With “Matlab” software resonant frequencies of the conveyor chute are calculated, which are then compared to the value determined during the experiment. Experiments with a vibratory conveyor prototype are carried out in order to determine the dependency of the excitation from the system parameters, and the dependence of transportation efficiency from the excitation parameters. Cargo transport simulation is then performed by using “EDEM” software for the results comparison. In the end of the thesis, conclusions are presented. |
