New derivatives containig diphenylsulfonyl moiety were designed, synthesized and characterized. 10-(3-(Phenylsulfonil)phenyl)-10H-phenotiazine,10-(3-(phenylsulfonil)phenyl)9,9-dimethyl-9,10-dihidroacridane, 10-(3-(phenylsulfonil)phenyl)-10H-phenoxazine, 10-(3(phenylsulfonil)phenyl)-3,7-di-tertbutil-10H-fentiazine were synthesized by Buchwald – Hartwig method. 9-(3-(Phenylsulfonil)phenyl)-9H-carbazole was prepared by Ullmann coupling. Compounds were identified by FT-IR, 1H and 13C BMR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis. Thermal properties of new derivatives were investigated. The compounds exhibited 5 % weight loss temperatures in the range of 205 – 333 ᵒC. Melting points were recorded in the temperature range from 113 to 196 ᵒC, glass transition temperatures ranged from 37 to 75 ᵒC. 10(3-(Phenylsulfonil)phenyl)-3,7-di-tertbutil-10H-fentiazine exhibited highest glass transition temperature. Optical, photophysical and electrochemical properties were investigated. Cyclic voltammetry method revealed ionisation potencials of 5,21 – 5,84 eV. Photoluminescence spectra of the compounds apeared in blue – green spectral region. Solid samples of diphenylsulfonyl- containing derivatives exhibited slightly higher fluorescence quantum yields (2,2 – 15,5 %) than filute solutions in toluene (2,0 – 13,7 %). |
