Abstract [eng] |
Master‘s thesis theme is “Obtainment of Humic Acids and Application for Production of Fertilizers”. The aim of this work is to find optimal parameters for obtainment of humic substances from Lithuanian peat and to study their characteristics and application for liquid fertilizers. The theory about liquid fertilizers and their quality parameters, humic substances classification according to their solubility in various solvents, also the importance of humic and fulvic acids for soil and plants growth, is given in the literature overview. Furthermore, classification of Lithuanian peat and their mining and required parameters for extraction process of humic substances from peat were discussed. In the experimental part of study, ten samples of different peat bogs were analyzed, comparing their physical properties and chemical composition according to geographical area and mining technology. Moreover, the extraction process of humic substances from peat samples was optimized – the optimum solvent and its concentration, extraction time and other parameters were found in comparison with information given in literature. Obtained humic acids extracts were analyzed and their compatibility was established with liquid nitrogen fertilizer UAN – 32. Thesis consists of 68 pages, 35 figures and 17 tables. The project includes abbreviations, list of figures and tables, introduction, literature overview, materials and the research methods, experimental results and discussion, technology recommendations, safety requirements and conclusions. |
