All drivers have experienced getting stuck in traffic jams or at least seeing a line of stopped and waiting cars. In recent years, the demand of transport infrastructure and vehicles in Lithuania is rapidly growing. This project analyses the flows of transport traffic in Kaunas city centre. Kaunas castle roundabout and Jurbarko-Krisciukaicio street crossroads are chosen for the research. The data has been collected of traffic flows in chosen crossroads and the engineering analysis of system that is being researched has been done. The improvements have been suggested based on created micro-traffic model. |
