Abstract [eng] Object of the study: semisolid dosage forms with the soft extract of propolis (creams, ointments) and the ethanol extract of propolis (gel). Objective: to model semisolid dosage forms with different extracts of propolis and to evaluate these forms quality on the stength of the biopharmaceutical researches. Tasks: 1 to make ethanol and soft extracts of propolis and to find out the amount of total phenolics and the amount of specific phenolic acids and vanillin in them; 2. to evaluate an antioxidant capacity and antimicrobal activity of the extract of propolis; 3. to make stable semisolid dosage forms with the extract of propolis and to evaluate their quality by these parameters: pH value, organoceptical and rheological properties; 4. to evaluate quality of semisolid dosage forms with propolis, based on the results of in vitro release test of phenolic compounds and to choose the appropriate forms for next researches; 5. to evaluate quality of semisolid dosage forms with propolis, based on the results of phenolic compounds penetration into the skin ex vivo. Methods. The total amount of phenolic compounds was determined by the spectrophotometric method. Quality and quantity analysis of the selected phenolic compounds was made by high performance liquid chromatography. Antioxidant activity was evaluated by using DPPH reagent. Antimicrobal activity was evaluated by using benchmarked microorganisms. Quality of the semisolid sosage forms was evaluated by pH values and rheological parameters. Also we evaluated the release of active compounds in vitro and the penetration of these compounds into the skin ex vivo.
