Abstract [eng] The master's thesis involves an analysis of the electric vehicle deployment impact to the electric power system. The research is carried out by modeling the electricity network of the selected part of Kaunas city by integrating electric vehicles. Network simulation is performed for a 24-hour period. We are using the modelling results, in order to differences between uncoordinated and coordinated charging of the electric vehicles. The coordinated charging is modeled by introducing a dynamic electricity price trend, whose purpose is to distribute the increased electricity consumption over time. The model also includes option to release accumulated electricity in electric batteries back to the electricity grid during peak loading period of the network. provides the ability to accumulate electricity in an electric vehicle battery during the peak load on the network. The purpose of using electric cars as electric energy storage devices is to reduce network load, facilitate system operation and reliability. Based on the results of the study and taking into account the electric vehicle‘s battery efficiency of the charging – discharging cycle, the recommendations are presented for the dynamic distribution of electricity tariffs in time.
