Abstract [eng] |
This paper is about racing drones research, common components and basic aerodynamic properties. The goal of this project is to improve overall performance by reducing airframe aerodynamic resistance and create a model that could be a prototype for building a commercial product. To test the calculations a 3D model and was designed, printed and tested in real world conditions. The first part of this project is a research of most popular components and chose which ones to use in my designed prototype, the main goal of this part is to chose the best and most powerful components that are allowed to use in drone FPV races by FAI F3U category rules. Component research revealed that the best combination of electronic system is around 2500 W and 61 N of thrust. |
