Abstract [eng] |
In the Final Degree Project it is written about how decoration (lacquer, oil coating) and softening materials (foam rubber, leather) influence the elasticity and aqoustic properties of the elements of oak and pine wooden. Using dynamic transverse resonance method, in accordance with amplitude – frequency characteristics of a sample in 20 – 2000 Hz range, determined their elastic modulus and sound damping coefficient before and after the decoration or coating with softening materials. The result was that the change in elastic modulus and damping coefficient of oak and pine wooden was distinct using different decoration and softening materials. Foam rubber was the material that impacted elasticity properties of the sample the most. Foam rubber is elastic, therefore the absorption coefficient of the sample increases sharply and elastic modulus decreases. Samples coated in laquer or in oil coating become more viscousas well. In addition to that, the change of these properties depended from not only properties of the material but the quantity of it used. It was proved that it is possible to change and manage elasticity and aqoustic properties of the wooden elements using decoration and other materials. Knowing elasticity properties of a different materials it is possible to forecast or design products that are meant to fortify or the opposite, to suppress, absorb noise and vibrations. |
