Abstract [eng] |
In this work criteria of forming a discharge on contaminated surface of two types of porcelain insulators are evaluated. For the calculations is used computer program Comsol Multiphysics and different mathematical models for estimating parameters required to form a discharge. Those parameters are estimated for two regimes of electrical power grid – when grid is working with no faults and when there is an earth fault. The calculated results are used to estimate the influence of earth fault on discharge on formation and on which conditions the insulator is able to perform when the grid is working with no faults, but when an earth fault occurs, there is a possibility of a flashover and the damaged area of the grid is expanded. Also in this work a 3D model with Comsol Multiphysics is simulated in wich insulators potential and electric field distribution is calculated. By using those model probability of forming a corona discharge is evaluated by estimating it with Peek’s law, when the power grid is working correctly and when an earth fault occurs. |
