| Abstract [eng] |
This reasearch analyzes opportunities to utilize small UAVs to bring value to civil and commercial sector. One of the ways to achieve this is by using small UAVs as radio signal repeaters. This could greatly increase the number of situations in which small UAVs could be used. To allow practical implementation of such systems, more reasearch is needed, as well as means to evaluate signal propagation in such systems. This work proposes mathematical model for signal propagation evaluation in GCS-UAV hop of UAV repeater system. Practical experiment results are compared to proposed model. |
