The master‘s thesis studies the operation of the transformer differential protection in case of transient processes in a current transformer. In the overview section, the operation of the current transformer, its operation during transient processes and its saturation characteristic are analyzed. Information is provided on differential protection and its operation. The basic principles of transformer differential protection are described and similar studies are analyzed. The network scheme and a scheme for calculations are presented in the research section. Based on the network scheme, the calculations are made and listed in the tables. The model in „SIMULINK“ has been developed based on the results of calculations and the equipment used. Modeling results and their analysis are presented in the research results section. |
