Adolescents' success in school is determined not only by subject matter but also by emotional and social skills: self-confidence, self-control, ability to express one's thoughts, needs, to agree with peers, cooperate to achieve goals and seek help .Theater methods (Applied Drama) could be integrated into the educational process. In the various research the development of adolescent behavior, social skills, their importance and theater education are widely considered. In this work all three constructs are combined. The research problem is formulated in the following questions: what possibilities are for 9th-12th students to develop social skills using applied theater methods? What impact on the development of social skills for 9th-12th Students do application of these methods? The aim of this work – to reveal opportunities of Theater methods for developing social abilities of 9th-12th students. Objectives: 1) to find out the theoretical basis of the opportunities of Theater methods for developing social abilities of 9th-12th students. 2) to justify research methodology of Theater methods for developing social skills using abilities of 9th-12th students. 3) to find opportunities of Theater methods for developing social abilities of 9th-12th students. This work is organised by mixed research strategy. Methods: analysis of scientific literature, educational experiment, survey, diary writing. |
