Abstract [eng] |
This paper investigates combined heat and power plant participation in the frequency control. The paper also describes the relevance and importance of this topic in the current and future electricity system. For this analysis, the current literature and the main principles of modeling were reviewed. Based on these modeling principles, an electric steam turbine and a main regulating valve were simulated, as well as models of constant power, constant pressure and coordinated control regimes. Also, in this work the power generation changes in the case of a jump-frequency change during the mentioned control regimes are analyzed and it is determined which control regime is best suited in the control of the frequency of the power system. |
