Abstract [eng] This recommendation document presents both key research insights and practical guidelines for family businesses based on an international research project conducted in Lithuania, Latvia, and Taiwan. An international research team carried out 18 in-depth case studies—six in each country—focusing on family firms operating in the production, retail, and wholesale sectors. The study explored three major themes: dynamic managerial capabilities, organizational resilience, and succession planning and generational transition, offering evidence-based recommendations to support the sustainable development of family firms.
