Abstract [eng] |
This master thesis analyzes parental expectations and satisfaction with preschool education services. The novelty of the topic is that consumer satisfaction with the services provided by nurserykindergartens in Lithuania was examined periodically and / or independently: research studies evaluated and analysed more the quality of provided pre-school services or their diversity, pre-school education programs, but only rarely studied the expectations of parents, as a consumer’s, themselves. To this day, there has been insufficient research conducted to analyse the nursery-kindergarten activities against the expectations of parents. At national level, the results of research carried out in Lithuania showed the weaknesses of nursery-kindergartens and the fact that satisfaction with pre-school education is only partial. In this fast-paced, constantly changing society, there is a need to update the data from the already conducted studies looking at the satisfaction with the services provided by nursery-kindergartens, and not periodically, but constantly investigate how nursery-kindergartens justify parents and expectations. |
