Abstract [eng] The thesis analyzes the problem related to the pecularities of secondary raw materials sector and its companies. It is highlighted that the standard purchasing principles and the purchase model are not applicable in this sector. From the practical perspective it has been frequently noted that the supplier may not agree to sell raw materials, even though the buyer's price is higher than the competitors offer. Therefore, it is evident that the suppliers are not only profit-oriented, but are also seeking for business relationships and a good service. The problem of this work is also related to the fact that for the suppliers of the analyzed company this is not the core business; the sellers are usually operating in their main business related to production and trade. Thus, the following problem is raised: what are the peculiarities of the purchase process in the secondary raw materials market and what purchasing model works well in this market? The object of the thesis – purchase process in the secondary raw materials market. The purpose of the thesis is to analyze the pecularities of purchase process in the secondary raw materials market. Tasks of the thesis: (1) To define the problem of the purchase process in the secondary raw materials market; (2) To determine the peculiarities of the purchase process in the secondary raw materials market; (3) According to the research methodology, to investigate the peculiarities of the purchase process in the secondary raw materials market based on the analyzed company‘s example; (4) To determine the elements and / or their linkages of the most effective purchase process (model) in the secondary raw materials market. Methods of the thesis: scientific literature analysis; document analysis; content analysis; interview. The first part of the thesis describes the thesis problem. The teoretical part analyzes the purchase process, the role of suppliers in the purchase process and the peculiarities of the purchase model in the secondary raw materials market: its purpose, principles, model, the structural and contextual buyer‘s characteristics, and the role of relationship marketing. The empirical part of the work, based on selected thesis methods, presents the peculiarities of purchase process in the secondary raw materials market. The final part of the Master's thesis presents the results of the research, presenting the elements of the purchasing process (model) and their linkages within the secondary raw materials market.
