Abstract [eng] Quality management standard from the International Organization for Standardization, ISO 9000, is quickly becoming a standard that more and more worldwide companies choose. Adoption of ISO standard, opens up more opportunities in the market, it can also boost the morale of employees, promotes their understanding of quality, improves the inside and outside connections of the company, which in turn improves the quality, efficiency, delivery time, as well as relationships with customers and suppliers. For these reasons, the need to adopt ISO 9000 series of standards, in the market is growing. The topic that is being examined in this thesis is relevant for the worldwide market, and during the research, the connection between quality management methods, included in the ISO 9000 series standards, and their impact on Lithuanian companies, will be evaluated, as there are very few scientific researches done, about the ISO 9000 standards, oriented to Lithuanian companies. Research object. Connection between quality management methods and their impact on company's performance. Research aim. Identify the relationship between the methods that make up ISO 9000 series standards and their impact on quality achievements. Research goals: 1. After an analysis of scientific literature, define and clarify the concept and essence of quality management methods; 2. Analyses the raised hypothesis, that are connected to the quality management methods and performance, and identify the reasons for them; 3. Conduct an empirical study, to check the connection between the raised hypothesis of quality management methods; 4. Examine the impact of quality management methods on the company's quality performance. Summarizing the results of the study, it can be said, that almost all of the hypothesis raised about the connection between quality management methods and their impact on performance, were confirmed. The rejected hypothesis showed that employee training and customer relationships has no impact on quality data, while process management and product design has no connection with quality. The results of a conducted regression analysis showed, that the quality results depends on the quality data and reports, while financial and market indicators depends on the product design.
