When Lithuania joined the European Union, the requirements for the waste management sector became especially important, as the EU easte policy forms the basis of waste policy in the Republic of Lituania. Wasre policy is a fairly well-developed but its development is still strong. This time in Lithuania we have quite good mixed municipal waste system. Nowadays contemporary dumps are projecting and operating as to make less danger for the public health and environment. New burning mixed municipal waste technologies creates more and more energy. A lot of attention gives for air pollution control systems, to reduce the pollution level. However in XXI age priority is given to reduce mixed municipal waste quantity, to use second hand and recycling. But there are thing that it‘s impossible to do with mixed municipal waists are burning in factories and removing to regional dumps. |
