Electrical energetics of Western Lithuania due to its geographical location, the majority of Lithuania's wind power resources concentrated in the region, the NordBalt power transmission link and the only deep-water country Klaipėda port is an important link in the Lithuanian sustainable energy sector, which influences the whole country's life. Western Lithuania's sustainable electricity is usually considered as an integral part of sustainable energy development in Lithuania; however, this region is important and deserves separate analysis.The purpose of the research – to analyze the sustainable electricity development in Western Lithuania, to predict and evaluate its perspectives. |
