Abstract [eng] The article examines the importance of social capital in fostering social innovations within organizations that deliver social services. Social capital, based on mutual trust and collaborative networks, can foster the creation and implementation of innovative solutions. The study examines how the internal and external elements of social capital within organizations influence the processes of introducing social innovations. Based on data from qualitative interviews with employees of social service organizations, it was found that strong social capital enhances the ability of organizations to respond to changing societal needs, involves stakeholders in decision-making, and facilitates the creation of innovations within organizations. The article’s conclusions highlight the need to deliberately nurture trust-based relationships in order to strengthen the impact and innovativeness of social services.
