The thesis examines the complexity of documenting ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) procedures and proposes a solution for transforming SQL-based program code into UML activity and class diagrams. A methodology is developed to identify mappings between ETL elements and UML model components. A tool was created to automatically generate UML diagrams from SQL code using XMI file generation. |
