Virtual learning promotes the application of information and communication (ICT) technologies in education, aiming for effectiveness and efficiency. While technology offers many possibilities, the teacher's role remains crucial. Artificial Intelligence (AI) opens up new opportunities, especially in applying learning to individual needs and solving tasks. However, it is crucial to consider the accuracy of provided information, ethical use, and the development of teacher competencies, and to ensure that AI tools assist instead of disturbing the learning process. Studies analysis has shown that the majority of high school students already utilize AI chatbots in their learning process and see their potential for improving efficiency. The most commonly used chatbots are general-purpose ones, such as “ChatGPT”, for assistance in information retrieval and error correction. A survey of informatics teachers revealed that virtual learning tools are widely used in schools. Online learning environments and tools are often used. A remote learning system was designed and implemented, integrating artificial intelligence PPS services, designed to improve the performance of data mining tasks. The system includes learning assistant and administration subsystems, supports four types of tasks (“PDF”, “Excel”, “Python”, “Orange”), and uses “Google Gemini” PPS services to generate answers and provide relevant information sources. A “WordPress” system plugin was implemented, ensuring convenient system deployment and use in schools. Efectiveness evaluation of the developed AI-based data science learning system in schools determined that the system is beneficial for saving teachers' time, encouraging deeper interest, and is user-friendly. However, technical issues were noted, along with the need to improve the accuracy of AI responses and expand functionality for teachers, to ensure more effective application in education. |
